Chalet Green Forest is situated in Lavancher, a mountain hamlet only a few minutes' drive from Chamonix. Combining the feel of a traditional chalet with contemporary design and impressive features, this chalet is both modern and cosy. The elevated position and huge windows in the open plan living area create beautiful views of the Chamonix Valley as far as the ski lifts at le Tour.
The chalet's luxury facilities mean you have leisure options without leaving the property. The indoor pool (28°C) has a resistance setting for those who enjoy a swim, and for those who want to relax, they can choose between the sauna or outdoor hot tub. After a day on the pistes or trails, you can unwind infront of the log burner and take in the panoramic views or escape with a blockbuster in the cinema room.
Chalet Green Forest offers a different experience from staying in Chamonix - more 'montagnard.' You can enjoy the feeling of being away from it all while only being a short drive from Chamonix and the surrounding ski areas. There is a neighbouring hotel for drinks or a meal and for something special, visit the 'hameau' 50m away for a gastronomic dinner. In our opinion, Green Forest is the perfect mountain retreat!
Information for Groups
For larger groups, this chalet can be combined with Chalet Silver Forest which is just opposite. Together the chalets can sleep up to 19 in 10 bedrooms.

The location is brilliant as it’s close to Chamonix and also walks from the chalet. We especially loved the hike up to the quaint Le Chapeau restaurant. And then there is the view….. it’s amazing.

Short stays priced at a minimum of 4 nights. A discount of 15% will be applied to 5 nights, 25% to 6 nights and 30% to 7+ nights. 5 nights minimum for February holidays, UTMB, Christmas OR New Year. 12 nights minimum Christmas & New Year.
